ABOUT THE INTEGRATION

What Is UNA Health — And Why Does It Matter?

UNA Health is a mobile-first clinical competency platform. UNA Test delivers specialty competency exams and skills checklists, UNA Wallet holds credentials, and its mandatory courses are built to meet CDC, OSHA and Joint Commission requirements.

Competency paperwork is usually the slowest step between hiring a clinician and billing for them. A recruiter sends a checklist, the clinician can't finish it until they're at a computer, and someone spends the rest of the week asking whether it's done. The shift stays open. This integration moves the assignment into NextCrew and the completion onto the clinician's phone.

Competency sits beside the rest of the compliance picture — healthcare staffing software is where the whole workflow runs, recruiting and onboarding gets a clinician work-ready, and every live connection is listed in the integrations marketplace.

KEY BENEFITS

Why Healthcare Agencies Connect NextCrew and UNA Health

Assign Once, Track in One Place

Send a whole role bundle — tests, skills checklists and mandatories — to a Crew Member without leaving NextCrew. Completion flows back on its own, so nobody emails to ask where it stands.

Clinicians Finish on Their Phone

UNA is mobile-first, so a checklist gets done between shifts instead of waiting for desktop access. UNA reports that its skills checklists complete 50% faster than legacy frameworks.

HOW IT WORKS

How the NextCrew UNA Health Integration Works

Build the invite

Select a role bundle — or pick individual tests, checklists and mandatories — in NextCrew.

Send it to the clinician

The invite creates their UNA record and reaches them on their phone. No second data entry.

Completion returns automatically

UNA reports completion back to NextCrew as it happens. No certificates to re-file.

One compliance record

Status sits on the Crew Member's profile beside their credentials — one audit trail.

FAQs

UNA Health Integration FAQ

UNA Health is a mobile-first platform for clinical competency exams, skills checklists and annual mandatories. You assign and track them from NextCrew; clinicians complete them in UNA on their phone.
Tests, skills checklists and annual mandatories — individually, or as a role bundle such as Case Manager RN that carries the whole set in one selection.
Assigning from NextCrew creates the clinician's UNA record, so you are not entering the same person twice. They complete the assignment in UNA on their phone.
Install the UNA app from the NextCrew Marketplace using your UNA administrator account. One-time setup, no file transfers.
The integration is included with your NextCrew subscription. UNA bills separately under your own agreement with them.
Nursys verifies that a license is valid. UNA verifies that a clinician is competent for the role. Most healthcare agencies need both — one is a legal check, the other is a clinical one. See the Nursys integration.

Your Clinicians Should Be on Shift. Not Chasing a Checklist.
