1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how NextCrew Corporation ("NextCrew", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technology on www.nextcrew.com. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly, and our Terms of Use.

The NextCrew platform and our mobile apps are covered separately in section 7.

2. Cookies and similar technology

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device, so the site can recognize your browser on a later request or a later visit. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

Cookies we set ourselves are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company whose code runs on our pages, such as an analytics or advertising provider, are third-party cookies. We also use tags (sometimes called pixels): small pieces of code that tell a provider a page was viewed. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.

A cookie cannot read other files on your device, run programs, or install anything.

3. The categories we use

Necessary

Required for the site to load, stay secure and remember your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off in our settings. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site will stop working.

Statistics

Tell us how the site is used — which pages are visited, how people arrive, and where they leave — so we can improve it. We look at this information in aggregate.

Marketing

Let us measure our advertising and reach business audiences on other platforms, and identify the companies that visit our site so our sales team can follow up. The providers that set these cookies may also use them under their own privacy policies.

We do not currently use preference cookies beyond remembering your cookie choices.

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, including only third-party cookies. Instructions: Chrome · Safari · Firefox · Edge. Blocking necessary cookies will stop parts of our site from working.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser, where state law requires it.

Provider and industry opt-outs

• Google Analytics: the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
• LinkedIn: LinkedIn advertising preferences, if you have a LinkedIn account
• Interest-based advertising: the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tools

Opting out does not stop you seeing advertising. It stops that advertising being based on your visits to our site.

6. Advertising and state privacy laws

We do not sell personal information for money. Under several United States state privacy laws, letting advertising providers collect identifiers through cookies on our site can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or as "targeted advertising", and in some states as a "sale". The marketing cookies in section 4 are the ones this applies to. You can opt out through our cookie settings, a Global Privacy Control signal, or by writing to us. Section 7 of our Privacy Policy explains your rights in full.

7. The platform and mobile apps

The NextCrew platform uses necessary cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, apply your agency's security settings and keep sessions secure. The NextCrew mobile apps use device identifiers and push notification tokens to deliver shift offers and reminders, and use location only at clock-in and clock-out where your agency has enabled it.

Neither the platform nor the apps carry advertising, and we run no advertising trackers in either. How we handle the information in them is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies or tags on our site change, or when the law does. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
