For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, a “User” or “you” shall be any person or entity including (without limitation) any Organizer, Seller, or Consumer (as each term is defined below) that utilizes, views, uses or accesses any of the Services, whether or not such person or entity is registered for an Account.

Information We Get When You Use Our Service -  When you use our Service, we collect information about how you’ve used it. We collect information when you visit our website, use our mobile applications, use our platform, interact with a customer’s website, or communicate with us through our customer support teams. We’ll collect whatever information you volunteer or that we need to resolve your question.

4. How We Use Your Personal Data

We may use the information that we collect about you and from you, including Personal Information, for the following purposes:
  • To customize our website/app: We seek to improve your experience with our website. As a result, we will analyze data we collect about your use of the website.

7. How You Can Access, Update or Delete Your Personal Data

You can request access to some of your Personal Data being stored by us. You can also ask us to correct, update or delete any inaccurate Personal Data that we process about them. 8. How Long We Retain Your Personal Data

We may retain your Personal Data as long as you are registered to use the Service. You may close your account by contacting us. However, we may retain Personal Data for an additional period as is permitted or required under applicable laws. Even if we delete your Personal Data it may persist on backup or archival media for an additional period of time for legal, tax or regulatory reasons or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.

(a) - The GDPR requires us to tell you about the legal ground we're relying on to process any Personal Data about you. The legal grounds for us processing your Personal Data for the purposes set out in Section 1 above will typically be because:

  • it is necessary for our contractual relationship;

  • the processing is in our legitimate interest as an event organizing and ticketing Platform (for example, to protect the security and integrity of our systems and to provide you with customer service, etc.).

(b) - Personal Data retention

We retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to provide you with our Services, or for other important purposes such as complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.
If you have an account with us, we will typically retain your Personal Data for a period of 90 days after you have requested that your account is closed or if it's been inactive for 7 years.

(d) - NextCrew as a Data Controller and a Data Processor

EU data protection law makes a distinction between organizations that process Personal Data for their own purposes (known as "Data Controllers") and organizations that process Personal Data on behalf of other organizations (known as "Data Processors"). If you have a question or complaint about how your Personal Data is handled, these should always be directed to the relevant Data Controller since they are the ones with primary responsibility for your Personal Data.
NextCrew may act as either a Data Controller or a Data Processor in respect of your Personal Data, depending on the circumstances.

10. California Privacy Rights

For Residents of California - California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
The CCPA provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section provides additional details about the personal information we collect about California consumers and the rights afforded to them under the California Consumer Privacy Act or “CCPA.”
Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request to know more details about the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect (including how we use and disclose this information), to delete their personal information, to opt out of any “sales” that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
California residents may make requests to obtain certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. Government identification may be required to verify any requests received.

If you believe that the information, we’ve collected on you is incorrect, you are encouraged to contact us to update it. 12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by giving Policy to its Users on this page. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If a User objects to any of the changes to the Policy, the User must cease using NextCrew and can request that the Data Controller remove the Personal Data. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current Privacy Policy applies to all Personal Data the Data Controller has about Users.

13. Storage and Processing

If you are using our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that you are sending information (including Personal Data) to the United States where our servers are located. NextCrew may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information, to affiliate entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from United States law, please note that we will not transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.
